LEADERSHIP AND ADVOCACY
Independent Candidate for Congress (DC Delegate)
We are running to finally provide DC Residents with complete voting rights and to help positively and sensibly reform Congress and our democratic systems. We work to passionately apply systems that incentivize problem solving and leadership above partisan scorekeeping.
Founder and Executive Director, Douglass County, Maryland, 501(c)(4) Political Organization, formed in 2016. The organization advocates for a 2nd Retrocession, which is a merger between the District of Columbia and Maryland (see. www.douglasscountymd.org). For a video explanation of Douglass County, Maryland please click on this link of a report done by Evan Koslof of WUSA DK and DCMD on Channel 9. We changed the enhanced the discussion surrounding DC Representation in Congress. I have spoken at dozens of venues all over the city, lobbied in the halls of Congress, and generated substantial positive media attention around a radically centrist approach to an obvious problem. Retrocession and Douglass County, Maryland are widely known and respected as a result of our passionate, informed, outside the box, and empathetic advocacy.
