President Nancy shares about a recent connection with the Rotary Club of Eckington, U.K.

Peter Swift, the President of the Rotary Club of Pershore in the Village of Eckington, U.K. invited me and other interested D.C. Club members to attend their meeting on Wednesday, March 10, at 2 p.m. ET.

The club researched clubs around the world searching "Eckington" as a way to connect in a new and fun way. Eckington, D.C. was uncovered. I explained there is a neighborhood Eckington. The U.K. Club researched the history of Eckington, D.C. and was excited to make a connection with the D.C. Club.

Mimi Kanda and Ken Brown joined me for two back to back Rotary meetings!

It was a delight to meet the members of the Pershore and the Eckington Clubs. Mimi claimed it was like meeting old friends. Pershore and Eckington are charming small towns in the middle of England. They would love to host Rotarians from our club anytime!

I sent our Progress Newsletter and the club overview. I presented at the meeting for their next newsletter.

More Rotary Fun,
President Nancy
