The Rotary Club of Washington, D.C. welcomed guest speaker Linda Harllee Harper, Gun Violence Prevention Director, Office of the City Administrator, Washington, D.C.

The Zoom meeting was opened at 12:15 PM for member fellowship.

President Bill Dent welcomed participants.

Secretary Whitney Doll led the introduction of guests and visiting Rotarians.

Sergeant-at-Arms Sterling Hoffman presented the Four-Way Test and recognized birthdays and anniversaries for the week.

President Elect Marilyn Nevy Cruz inducted new member Debbie Peters.

Kenny Barnes introduced this week's guest speaker, Linda Harllee Harper, Gun Violence Prevention Director, Office of the City Administrator, Washington, D.C.

Linda is a justice reformer and advocate for court-involved youth and their families. She is also an experienced leader and change agent in juvenile justice, criminal justice, public safety, and social services with over fifteen years shaping and managing public safety, restorative justice policies, and youth development programs to improve the lives of our undervalued and underserved youth and their families. Linda has moved between the non-profit sector, for-profit sector, and government - either organizing for social change from the outside or reforming institutions, policies and practices from the inside.
